Tulum used to be a sleepy fishing village but now it’s an all-out destination for people who
love exploring the ruins and beaches of Yucatan. The Mayan culture can still be felt here, with its 1000+
year old structures standing tall against today’s modern development in this Resort City that offers so
much more than just sunbathing palm trees or swaying hammocks!
Cancun is a popular tourist destination in Mexico that offers many attractions for visitors. If you’re
coming from anywhere outside of North or South America, there’s an excellent chance your flight will
land right at the airport where plenty more awaits!
The Cancun airport is the best choice if you want to fly into Tulum. It’s not only cheaper but also more
convenient than other airports near town, like Chetumal or Cozumel!
The distance between Cancun and Tulum is about 131 kilometers (81 miles). The journey by road takes
between 1.5-2 hours depending on traffic, climatic conditions etc., but if you’re looking for an adventure
then I recommend taking public transportation because they offer more flexibility when it comes to time
constraints.
The ADO bus company is the most popular service provider throughout southern Mexico. People prefer
to get around by buses because they are reasonably priced and incredibly comfortable, with seats that
recline! There’ll be air conditioning on your ride too-and one bathroom at least; not sure if shuttles offer
this? Taking a chance riding independently can save you lots more money compared with hiring taxis or
capsules (which might also cost more!) when traveling between Cancun & Tulum
The journey will take about 5 hours depending upon traffic conditions which means there’s plenty of
time for some relaxation before arriving into town, So make sure visit their website ado.com.mx
